Lincoln Mining Receives Positive Column Leach Results For Pine Grove, Nevada

October 14, 2010

Vancouver, British Columbia – Lincoln Mining Corporation, TSX-V: LMG (“Lincoln”) or the “Company”) is pleased to report that it has received very good gold recoveries from column leach tests conducted by McClelland Laboratories (an independent laboratory located in Sparks, NV) on samples from its Pine Grove property.

Column leach tests have been carried out over the last five months on samples of large diameter PQ drill core. Two core holes were drilled on each of the Wheeler and Wilson deposits which constitute the main resource areas of the Pine Grove at this time.  The core was transported from the project site by the project geologist to a secure facility in Yerington, NV where it was logged and then delivered to McClelland Laboratories in Sparks, NV.

Gold-bearing core samples were composited by McClelland and crushed to -3/8-inch and then placed in 6-inch diameter columns for leach testing. To maximize sample volume, all mineralized core was used in the column leach tests.  McClelland and its subcontractor, ALS USA Inc. (Reno, NV), maintained in-house quality control using standards, blanks, and duplicate samples.  Samples and test facilities were under secure conditions at all times. Encouraging results were received and are listed below.

At least four more PQ core holes are planned on each of the mineralized zones for additional column test work and other metallurgical tests.  Test results will be used by Kappes, Cassiday & Associates (Reno, NV) in the design of the process flow sheet and plant.  A Preliminary Economic Assessment is underway at this time by Tetra Tech (Golden, CO) which will be followed by a Feasibility Study. Mine permitting will follow shortly thereafter.
