LINCOLN GOLD COMPLETES DRILLING AT HERCULES GOLD-SILVER PROPERTY, LYON COUNTY, NEVADA
CARSON CITY, NEVADA - September 23, 2004 - LINCOLN GOLD CORP. (OTCBB:LGCP) is pleased to announce that it has completed drilling on its Hercules gold-silver property in the northern Pine Nut Range, Lyon County, Nevada. Three reverse-circulation angle holes were drilled along 800 feet of vein strike. A total of 2800 feet were drilled. Adverse drilling conditions precluded the drilling of a fourth hole.
Angle (-60°) drill hole H04-1 was drilled to a depth of 1000 feet. Angle holes (-55°) H04-2 and H04-3 were both drilled to a total depth of 900 feet. All three holes encountered intensely altered rock and limited quartz vein material. Prospective portions of each drill hole are being sampled and assayed at an ISO 9002 and ISO 9001:2000 certified laboratory in Reno, Nevada. Assay results will be released once the Company has the results.
